The Concept of ‘H2H’ Marketing!
If you’re in the field of business, am sure by now you have heard of it and it is what comes to mind when you think of marketing strategy types, the ‘B2B’ (business to business) and the ‘B2C’ (business to customer). Experts use these major parameters to explain the differences:
- customer number
- the value of order
- the quantity of order
- needed decision time
- Relationship span
*with the latter having larger customer numbers, less value and amount of orders, shorter decision time, and short-lived relationships in the majority of the cases.
Now, a third concept was introduced by Bryan Kramer, which is ‘H2H’ marketing. This type of marketing rises from the premise that whether we are selling products and services to other businesses or customers, those who handle the purchasing and those who we deal with underneath are humans! It advocates a genuine trusting relationship and authenticity more than being focused on its being perfect and sophisticated. Basically, come down to the basics and stop being so formal!
What is your take on this concept? Does it do justice by generalizing the two?
